Hindostan Falls

This is Hindostan Falls in Martin County, located on Hwy 550 between Shoals and Loogootee.

Our first town, Hindostan, was the original county seat .  A plague in 1820 wiped out the town of Hindostan, leaving only the cemetery.

The fishing is great below the falls, and people can drive out on the large flat rock and have picnics, along with fishing.  A must visit!
